He said that DU has no plans to enable videos outside of the Political Video Forum. Maybe if we ask again nicely our Admin will consider it.

They're still hosted by YouTube.
There isn't a cost factor, the bigger concern is more likely that we'd all start posting weird shit to prank each other. Which is pretty likely, I think.

... cos Youtube would do it. But it would just demonstrate the power of the Lounge - if "The Lounge" raised a chunk of change for DU.
