The Folksmen are truly roots-oriented Americana drawing from such rich veins as Appalachian, Southern and even Native American traditions. TNMSS, on the other hand, had that commercial sheen that permeated much of the "sunshine pop" that folk music would gradually swallowed whole by. That being said, Parke Posey gives me the vapors.
