I looked on Ebay, but have no idea what to look for. I broke my phone and need another, but may switch plans soon and don't want to go all out.

look for a phone that is compatible w/ your service provider. If you are not sure, call your service provider to find out.

2. If you want to be brainless about it |

Search ebay for unlocked cell phones. Otherwise, stick with a phone you know your provider will support. Most if not all verizon phones are incompatible with other phone companies.

5. go to your service provider's site |
|
and look for refurbished phones. When I had to upgrade to hands-free, I got a Blackberry for only an $8 upgrade fee. Do this even if you want to switch providers.
