What happens when you have 0% storage in your email?
And how do you get more? I've had the same email program for five years, but I finally mananged to use up all my space. Now, when I delete something, it just pops back into my inbox.

1. Gonna need a little more info than that to be able to help.
Who is your email provider? What email client are you using?

6. Do you check it online or do you use a mail client/program?
My advice below may not work at all if you just check it on their website...at least not without a lot of work to get all the email forwarded to a mail program.

3. Have you ever emptied the trash?
If that folder is full then there's no room for anything else.

4. Yup. I empty the trash on a regular basis.
Do you think it could possibly be a virus of some kind?

5. Start a new profile and save the current one as whatever it is
with the word Archive at the end.

I had to do that recently, only I'm lazy. I just moved everything to local folders and redirected everything to my hard drive if I save it. That way the mail server never gets full and I can keep my saved emails. I must have hundreds of important emails from ages ago by now.
