Purpose:
In order to “spread the wealth” and encourage membership through a bit of educational participation, I am offering four stars to members of DU who can answer any of the quiz questions.
Rules:
1) Anyone may participate.
2) Four topics will be posted, each with a separate riddle in the “Who am I?” format. The questions will be historical in nature.
3) The first person (by time stamp of the reply) to answer the question correctly will be declared the winner.
4) Winners without stars will have a donation to DU made in their name and will be granted donor status. Winners without stars who do not wish to have a donation made in their name must contact RoyGBiv prior to the prize being granted to make their wishes known.
5) Winners with stars will be offered the option of having a donation made in their name or granting their prize to another DUer whom they deem worthy. Upon declaration of a winner, RoyGBiv will contact the winner privately to determine a course of action. Stars given away in this manner will be granted anonymously. The winner may choose to announce his or her choice if they so desire.
6) The DU member known as RoyGBiv will be the final arbiter of correct answers.
Note: These are not intended to be easy and only would be if you are very familiar with the subject. However, each question has distinct clues within the description itself that could be used for Google search terms. I will post these now, and if no correct answers have been given by Friday evening, I will start giving out clues.
