HELP!!!!! on movie info....
I just saw a documentary on Dorothy Dandridge. They showed very poor quality clips from Progy and Bess. They were in extremely pale color, almost B&W. I KNOW that the film was in color. I remember something about this film being withdrawn. I think that the Gershwin heirs were unhappy with it and they bought the rights to it and pulled it from circulation. Anybody confirm or elaborate on this? Much thanks in advance.
