So, my Bella (who will be JUST 9 weeks Monday) had her first cold this week. I didn't think I had her around anyone who was sick. I am VERY careful of that. Well, my husband tells his dad that she has been sick and he says "Oh, she had to have gotten it from me, I've had a sore throat for a while." Oh really? Why didn't you keep your sick ass at home if you knew you were sick? She is an infant!! A cold for her is MAJOR!! I could kick his dumb ass right now. He knew he was sick and still came over. Fucking asshole.

I had to miss 2 days of work. I get paid by the day since I am self-employed. Cost me $650.00. Should I send him the bill? Not trying to be ugly here, but I feel like it is common sense to stay away from babies when you are sick. Especially BABY babies.

Your baby is 9 weeks old and you are self-employed and you have been working. Who is watching your baby while you are at work and how much does it cost them?

Just being fair.

Sorry if I'm not understanding the situation.

her!!! It costs no one anything. I am lucky that way!!!

She will be going to daycare when she is 4 months old though! x( It is really the best thing for me to be able to get work done!!! She will really be bringing home some nasty shit then, but at least she can take some meds. I took her to the doc for her cold because her cough sounds terrible. She is still too young to be able to take anything really. I have just been giving her baby Tylenol and cleaning out her nose.

6.  I'm so sorry for being so flippant
I do know how hard it is with a young baby. I apologize for being a jerk. It's been a long week but you know what? Your little girl is beautiful and she is all yours. There is no better feeling in the world than a Mommy and her gorgeous daughter. You two are going to have so many fun years together!

7. I understand where your questions were coming from though.
The first thing her doc asked was if she was in daycare. Nasty stuff goes around and is spread so easily. She is my first baby and I am a tad paranoid. I have done everything to avoid sickness. I Lysol and Clorox everything, but it is inevitable sometimes. But coming over when you know you have been sick... Pisses me off!!

4. One of my biggest pet peeves, is when someone who is sick, knowingly exposes...
...themselves to others. Pisses me off big time.

I worked at a family owned company forever, and my Dad - the owner - was always talking how great it was when some of his employees showed up when they were sick. I always told him that it would knock out half the office because they showed up sick. I was right every time.

5. Had he not known he was sick or getting sick then that would be

a different deal. He knew he had a sore throat and had one for a couple of days. I was thinking sooo hard about who I was around that could have been sick. I couldn't come up with anyone. Then my husband told his dad about her being sick and he threw that out there like it wasn't a big deal. Dumb shit!! And I say that knowing this man and knowing that saying he is a dumb shit. He pissed me off from the get go when my husband and I got married he said he thought I was spoiled by how my dad acted towards me on my wedding day. I am the only girl in my fam and have lost a brother to a car accident. Sorry my dad was a tad emotional. This coming from a man who didn't have much to do with raising his own kids. They are a split family but he LET the step-dad be the MAIN dad. I have always thought he was a POS!

Sorry! I could rant about this man for a while.

8. No problem. I feel you. Inconsiderate people are insufferable.
