10. Very much so. If you don't pay attention to her she places her

head ever so gently upon your knee and stares up at you with sad eyes and a gently swishing tail until you notice her. It's adorable. :hi:

I've always thought dogs' loyalty was overrated.

A few years ago, I rescued a dog from the middle of a busy street. He had some tags on, so i brought him home and called the owners. They weren't home and i left a message. I fed the dog. Within half an hour, I swear that dog was MINE. He followed me around, laid down at my feet, stared at me adoringly.

His folks showed up to claim him - he was 13 years old!!!!!!! And because I gave him a little bit of roast beef, he was content to spend the rest of his life with me.

By the way, how is your niece doing? What was the diagnosis?

14. Thanks for asking. She is doing really well. They had her on

suppositories for a couple of weeks. The scans and spinal tap came back clear (whew) so the doctor thinks it was a combination of the slight temp and dehydration that did it.
