I got a strange look tonight |
|
My younger sister just left, we were laughing and joking about her ex-husband, a real jerk.
I said "He's got an ego the size of Unicron," and my sister gave me a blank look. I explained it to her.
Anyone else remember the reference? I hope I'm not the only one...

they thought they were too cool to get on the ark?
I vaguely remember that.
My dad had some Irish band sining a song about it on a record when I was a kid....

7. I lived through those years with my kids |
|
Am I the only person my age with a head full of 80's kiddie cartoons?
Am I the only one who had to do Transformers as bedtime reading for years, until my guys were old enough to read them to themselves?
Am I the only one to have "Bah weep granah weep ninni bong" float through my head at odd moments? Or the occasional chorus of "Dare to Be Stupid"?
Am I the only one who still has Transformers points cut out of the backs of the packages showing up in odd corners of my house 20 years later? (And that despite having moved twice in the interim.)
Yup. Guess so. How did all the rest of you miss it?

The music in the movie kicked ass, (especially "You've Got The Touch") and let's face it, they were just fun.

procreate.... I got to watch Thomas the Tank Engine, Richard Scary's Busy Town, and The Big Comfy Couch with my little one. I think I got the best of the bargain. (The Smurfs were the only really good cartoon from the eighties)
