1. I heard the checker at the grocery store saying a bunch of people she knows have colds

I rubbed my eye while pushing the cart and thought "OH, ----, I wonder if I just put cold germs into my eye!" After the automatic shopping cart wash was shown on the news, one of the ways you pick up viruses is fresh in my mind!
The best thing for what ails you is to take a very warm, steamy shower and blow and cough all the gunk out of your nose and bronchial passages. I hope you feel better soon!

2. I have a cold, but I think I caught it early enough.

I took my herbal cold pills and I am feeling much better.

I got my cold from working early voting.

3. MG Jr. has been sick for TWO MONTHS

Cold, then virus, then cough, then another cold, then stomach bug, then...oh gods I lost track. He's had a severe cough since just before Halloween that's kept him up at night, preventing him from resting and getting over it. The phlegm finally dried up...and today I noticed he has a new runny-nose thing going. GAAAAH.

Sounds like you had the same symptoms I did.

7. Just getting sick now, started yesterday, head is pounding and my nose goes between clogged

and faucet. My daughter is also sick, i'm guessing she's the one that brought the disease all up in the house, i'll kill her when she's feeling better.

my roommate is sick, and he rarely gets sick. I think if he got it, then I'm likely to get it.
