Do you have pets that are related to each other?
Not fakey related like, "The dog and cat are brother and sister" but real blood related.

Vader and Trinity aren't related to them or each other, but they look enough alike to be mother and daughter.

13. Yes, and it gets confusing.
Marble, my son's Tux, is aunt to Jeff and Mutt-Mutt, who are litter-mates, and Missy and Mu, who are litter mates from a different litter and half brother/sister to Jeff and Mutt-Mutt.

Jeff, the gray Tabby, and his brother Mutt-Mutt.

And the two domestic terrorists, Missy and Mu. Six weeks old, now.

They are all ferals that we took in.
Yes, I'm crazy.

20. Derived from the old "Mutt and Jeff" comic characters.
Edited on Sat Nov-15-08 07:01 PM by Ikonoklast
It's what we originally called the two male tabbies from that litter, and the names stuck when we took them in.

'Mutt' just kinda evolved into 'Mutt-Mutt' somehow. We all just started saying, "Come here, Mutt, Mutt, dinner's ready."

He seems happy enough with it.

15. Shiloh and Shocco are brothers. Shocco was the first born and
Shiloh was the runt of the litter. My best friend has another male from the litter named Taj. The female went to someone that I have not met but, I am sure it went to a good home.

17. Yes, my corgis are related.
The boy's father is the girl's grandfather. And his mother and her mother are sisters. I think we figured out that he is her uncle.

They look nothing alike. They are also distantly related to my first corgi who died about 10 years ago.

23. I have 4 sibling kitties...
Baby, Elvis, B.T.,and Noogie. I suspect they are the offspring of Scarlet, the feral who has been coming around for dinner for as many years as I can remember. I was able to trap her, and make sure all the above siblings didn't have any more.

25. My cats are brothers, five of the six dogs are all related.

Chairman Meow & Flea Taxi. I found them as kittens dumped on the side of a rural road.

Buddy moved in with his girlfriend Angel. Angel was pregnant.

Angel.

They were accompanied by their pup from a previous litter who I named Pee-Dee.

P-D

The pups arrived two weeks after I adopted the three adults.

Moe, Curly & Larry.

I lost Angel last year to kidney failure, it broke my heart. I didn't have to lift a finger to house train the three pups. Angel did it all, she saw my home as her den and she wasn't going to allow her pups to soil it. She even influenced her older pup PeeDee & her mate Buddy to not soil the place despite the fact they had never been inside a house in their lives.

They have a pack order set up, there is some fighting from time to time but never any bloodshed. The one dog who joined us is Lucy. She arrived about a year ago, just showed up at the farm. She is really sweet. The other dogs love her, Curly & Lucy will play for hours, he loves it when she tugs on his fur.

Lucy.

His mom adopted us on a cold rainy March day, and we later learned she was pregnant. Before we could get her fixed, she got pregnant again. We kept both litters.
