2. I wouldn't worry about it.
Where was the hole.

If anybody noticed it they will forget about it.

5. In the crotch. 3 inches. You cannot see it when I was standing up.
But I was sitting down after dinner last night.

Client enjoyed it, though.

11. I wore two different style black shoes to an eye exam.
I wondered whether I should draw attention to it myself or let the eye doctor think I needed a MUCH stronger prescription.

14. My dear applegrove!
Oh, you are most certainly not the only one!

I recently discovered that a pair I wear ALL THE FREAKING TIME had a hole, and shall we say not exactly in the crotch???

And then, when I checked the others...more holes in them too...

Well.

I bought a whole bunch of new pants, and I'm watching them with an eagle eye!

They were knits, and not repairable...

*sigh*

I was truly mortified...

21. Thanks Peggy. You always make me feel better. If you have a sewing machine you can use
Edited on Sun Nov-16-08 01:48 PM by applegrove
a zigzag stitch on stretchable fabric. Or you can simply stretch the fabric as you sew. I've done lots of sewing with four way stretch fabric (swimsuits) so I know.

32. I'm glad I made you feel better!
The tears were off the seam line, so I didn't think there was any way to really repair them...

Too bad...

If my new pants tear this way, I'll keep in mind your good advice!

And I do have a sewing machine, complete with a zigzag attachment!

Thanks, sweetie...

19. I remember the last time I discovered a hole in my pants...
it was back when I worked at a pizza place. I'd stand next to a 500 degree oven, with the Florida sun streaming in the windows. Needless to say, it got pretty damn hot.

I also wore an apron, so I couldn't see my front. I didn't realize my jeans had developed a hole that had been wearing itself bigger and bigger all day. Until I knelt down to get something from the bottom shelf of the freezer. Suddenly a cold breeze went straight up under my apron and HOLY CRAP!!!!!!

25. Why do men tend to do that more than women? I mean women open zippers to change or go
to the washroom. How come they are not always "flying low"?

26. I am sad to admit that
I have , on more than one occasion, went out the door in the morning with black socks and brown shoes on only to notice my fashion faux pas later in the day...

I feel like an idiot when I do that.

29. Black socks with brown shoes is not so bad. Black is kinda a neutral.
Socks are the hardest though. I know for me I cannot tell blue from black in the dim light that is my bedroom. More than once I've been wearing one navy sock and one black one.

37. I was walking around with my pants on inside out a couple of Saturdays ago
We had taken Bullwinkle925 to the airport and then went to the mall to do a bit of shopping. I happened to look at my pants (a pair of lululemon workout pants) in a mirror and saw that I had them on inside out. I hied myself to a bathroom to rectify the situation. I was MORTIFIED!

And why did Bullwinkle925 not notice this??
