He plays the head of a traveling carnival during the great depression. That show is weird as balls too. So good.

They were high up in the church tower with all those nasty sea monsters swirling around....

Will they make it out alive?
Will we slaughter the monsters and make stew?
Will a monster become President of the USA?

Now we will never know.

I WANT SURFACE BACK.....AND I WANT IT NOW!!!

48. I just checked YouTube for Surface episodes.
I just about peed during the last 7 minutes of the show. Just on the edge of my seat!!

Anyone remember that portion of the show when some reporter was in like Puerto Rico or some city by the ocean and one of the sea monsters came up out of the ocean and ate him in one big gulp. I just about dropped my teeth. (really I have all my teeth,,,,,but my gosh that was exciting and horrible all in the same instance.

I'm on the third season towards the end. Sinclair just went back in time to Minbar ;)

I don't keep up with the weird scheduling on Sci Fi. Did they ever air any true conclusion to BSG? The last I saw was them making it to Earth and a "to be continued" bit at the end. I'm not one to watch the teasers and minisodes they put on the site. Just show the whole thing on the tube! lol

DONNA
Ever year on Thanksgiving, the President pardons a turkey.

C.J.
He pardons a turkey.

DONNA
Yeah, and it's your event, so...

C.J.
What, are there two?

DONNA
I'm sorry?

C.J.
Why are there two turkeys?

DONNA
Customarily, the Press Secretary decides--

C.J.
No.

DONNA
--which of the two finalists is more photogenic. Their names--

C.J.
I don't want to know their names.

DONNA
This one's Eric and this one's Troy.

C.J.
Eric and Troy.

DONNA
Yeah.

C.J.
And I'm to choose the more photogenic of the two to receive a Presidential pardon.

DONNA
Yeah.

C.J.
Okay, I have actually a Masters degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

It's odd that the three best TV series (in my opinion) all came from England:

Best drama series: Upstairs, Downstairs
Best comedy series: Monty Python's Flying Circus
Best documentary series: Planet Earth

89. On cable or network
On cable, definitely "Sopranos", with "Oz" as a very close second. On network, it would have to be "Seinfeld." We watched it originally, our parents watched it late at night in syndication. However, it created a common language between the 2 generations, at least in our case.

A great, unconventional comedy killed well before its time. If I'm wrong, and there is a hell, then there's a special place for the idiots that took it off the air.
