2. I am sad.
But I am NOT lonely.

Too many people rely on me.

Sometimes I think I would
rather have the chance to
be lonely.

17. Ditto on the sad and lonely, or at least I will be later...
right now I'm happy because I just had 15 snickers and a bag of popcorn.

Going for a walk usually solves the sadness, although the loneliness doesn't shake as easily. Lonely gay guy. :-(

31. My dear harmonicon...
I'm sorry you're sad and lonely...

I'm by myself for the moment, and I'm good with it...

My husband has been watching the Godfather movies nearly all day, and I cannot watch them anymore...

And tomorrow I will be talking with some other good friends...

So, I guess what I'm getting at is that I'm alone right now, but it's not permanent.

Hope you feel better very soon, sweetie!

50. Jeez. . .
I was able to ignore my sad loneliness until I made the mistake of reading this thread. It helped to focus on just being tired and stressed, but now I feel sorry for myself, too. That whole "misery loves company" thing isn't all it's cracked up to be either, is it? :hi:

Should I have gone to the restaurant? I think I made the right decision.

Of course, history shows that I should have someone that I hire to make me do the opposite of whatever I decide is the right choice.

51. Unless you consider that (spoiler)
the woman who was hanging with The Master, and shot him, had been used as a storage template and it was The Master shooting The Master, as misdirection, so there are still two Time Lords left.

Yeah, that's kinda sad too.

52. entirely possible
I didn't like that last master. It would be good to see a better come back for him, though I really do like this last of the timelords thing. One of the nice touches of the new series. I really don't like the timelord stuff in the old episodes.

There is also the Doctor's "daughter" to consider. Is she a Timelord? If so, why didn't she regenerate after she died?

55. Lonely but not sad at the moment
poker game ( extremely low-stake) coming up tonight. Been lonely and depressed much of my allegedly adult life... Not as bad as it used to be though. I hope this feeling is temporary for you , harmonicon. Sending best wishes for happier times soon to you....Are you a harmonica player by the way? I am... ( besides sax and flute). Cranking up some defiant rocknroll helps me. Don't Back Down by Tom Petty, Marley's Get Up Stand Up, lots of Springsteen songs in that vein too; Promised Land, Badlands...and damn near anything by the Clash--Rudie Can't Fail, Guns of Brixton etc. Just sayin that this seems to help me when I'm down....
