1. Yep... just saw them
at Hampton Beach Casino and at Mohegan Sun.

Mind you, Jon Anderson is not with them. He has been very sick w/ respiratory problems this year. A man from a Yes tribute band from Canada is doing vocals--Benoit David.

Also, Rick Wakeman had other obligations, so his son Oliver is filling in.

At the Hampton Beach show, I really missed Rick Wakeman. Benoit David was no Jon Anderson but he was a better substitute than Oliver Wakeman was for Rick.

By CT, they had managed things much better. Oliver is so no Rick, but he did much, much better.

I can provide a set list for anyone interested... but I won't do that here--just in case people want to be surprised.

I did miss some songs that had become regular material, but was pleasantly surprised by others.

4. That is not Yes

That's a couple of guys needing some money so badly they don't give a damn about their fans.

Anderson went on record condemning this tour and I am with him. I did understand that they were not going to call themselves Yes, is that true or not?

EDIT: meant as a reply to the OP but point still the same. :-)

and he was on fire in CT.... never saw him having so much fun.

and if you closed your eyes, you wouldn't miss Jon Anderson.

Oliver had a tough time in NH, but in CT he was pretty darned good.

DON'T GO ANY FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE SET LIST!!!!!!

Yes has gone though many incarnations, including one album where Anderson and Wakeman were not involved. That music hasn't been played on tour in recent years because Jon just won't do it. It was NICE to hear music from the Drama album on tour once again.

Oh, and I'm a fan!

6. So was it Yes on the "Drama" album?
Admittedly, that's one that I've never listened to for some reason, but I absolutely love "Tempus Fugit."

2. It's an interesting setlist this time around...
I won't post any spoilers, but there's some pretty rare tunes in there. The shows have been running close to three hours (with an intermission).
