2. It's true. White Castles are one of the four main food groups. |

5. You have missed on of life's simplest pleasures. |
|
I don't know if they have WCs where you live, but if you get the chance, grab bag of sliders, belly bombs, greasy cheesies, etc. You'll love 'em!

I don't know how well little burgers would work with the natives.
How much do the little burgers cost.

I buy them by the bagful when I get them (and sadly, we don't have them in MS so Ihave to get the frozen ones at the grocery store; they're good too!).

9. Don't overcook them in the microwave; they'll be all hard. |
|
Still good, but you want the bun to be soft and moist, so don't over do them.
Great with ketchup and brown mustard!

They are better if you steam them. Use whatever you steam your vegetables in, put them on a little foil and just add less water.
After one of Philboy’s recent posts regarding these delectable little burgers, Mr.Gut decided it was time to give the frozen ones a try (he used to live in Ohio).
So I used the steaming method and he said they turned out darn close to the ones straight from the drive thru.

25. Ooooh! Excellent idea!!!! |
|
I ate a box of 'em (yes, a BOX but it was only six) last night from the microwave and they were just right. I leave them in the plastic sleeve, with one end open, and they don't dry out.
But I'll definitely try them in the steamer! How long do you steam them?

26. Once the steaming starts, less than 10 minutes. |
|
Try just one first, then you will have an idea. It really didn't take long. We were experimenting, and have only done it once, but may have to do it again after this thread! Especially since they are so good for you and no animals were harmed in their making, from what I hear.
What we did. Make a small foil square to place the burger on, so the bottom bun doesn't stick to the steamer. Place the burger on it after the water starts to boil. Put the lid on and check after ~ 5 minutes, then go from there. Apply, ketchup and dill pickle slices to hot burger.

19. same here, I can see myself conjuring up a reason to detour to North Beach St |
|
(location of the only known Krystal in Fort Worth) for a dose of greasy little square burgers with steamed onions and pickles. Thursday, after my massage appointment, it will be right on the way home too.

I've always assumed that to be true, but I haven't had one in years, and maybe that's why I'm sad and in poor health... I can't even get the here :( not even the frozen ones
