My friend's little girl is in full page ads for St. Jude's.

In People, the Time edition with Barack on the cover, Vogue, Everyday with Rachael Ray.

She's five and she has brain cancer. It looks as though she is beating it, Thank God.

If you see an ad in any mag that reads Ellie vs. Brain Tumor with a beautiful little girl, that's her. I wish the ad I have in front of me was in color because she has the most amazing blue eyes.

And, if you would say a prayer or a good thought that she continues to get well. She did an ad for St. Jude with Jennifer Aniston and presented flowers to the Duchess of York. She's a pretty special little girl.


And, her mom's a fervent Dem.

I can't remember whether it is WGRD or WLAV.

We used to call in donations, just to hear our names announced on the radio. They probably got a lot of money from kids doing that.
