The beagle and one of the cats are sitting in front of the fireplace, looking very interested, |
|
looking up into it every once in a while. The cat's been there all afternoon. Any theories as to what's going on up that has them so enthralled?

5. There's no fire. Firewood is one of the many things I've run out of in the last week. nt |

10. Could be. I once came home from worship and found Shamu, |
|
the cat now parked in front of the fireplace, playing with a dead swift in the living room--also right in front of the fireplace. I assume it came down the chimney. He must've caught it right away when it came down the chimney, because the other critters were all upstairs, asleep on my bed. Apparently, Shamu is quite the hunter!

9. It could just be a bug in there |
|
although that's probably more likely to interest a cat than a beagle.
Well, actually, to tell you the truth, they're telepathically communicating to each other, "Duuuudddde, we really got mycritters guessing now, don't we."
