Priceless: for my husband
for my husband :hippie:

Trip with the guys to the Grand Canyon:
$2500

1st of 3 ambulance rides, the first being out of the Grand Canyon National Park to Tusayon:
$571.00 (the other two were about 3k altogether)

Added expense of wife coming to get you after you fall off your motorcycle on your first full day of vacation, including plane trip to Flagstaff and her time off work right before she goes back to college to finish her music degree after a 12 years. Along with the gas and hotel expense:
$1500

Filling all the paperwork out for BlueCross BlueShield because the National Parks Service doesn’t contract with BCBS, therefore BSBS will not give any information to the National Parks Service regarding claims that they submit to them.
Therefore the National Parks Service will not submit BCBS claims for patients. When we’ve paid the bill, the National Parks Service will be happy to provide us with any documents we need to help us get reimbursed by BCBS:
PRICELESS
:sarcasm:

This was back in August, but we are still dealing with bills. Hubby is OK now, but I just HAD to post this today. After dealing with insurance paperwork. Paperwork is HELL!!! Had to give the DH a little bit of a hard time considering he’s lucky I didn’t break his other leg. Glad we have insurance! Glad he's ok!

THANK YOU, BABE, FOR WEARING YOUR HELMET!!!!!!! :loveya:

1. Good to hear he's OK.
Yes, insurance is a PITA. Wish we had the NHS here. Then there wouldn't be any of this crap.

2. yep
note to self:

don't have an accident in a rural area. the cost of the ambulance rides ALONE are enough to put you into a tail spin.
