Is Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles any good?
I watched a part of the show a few weeks back and it looked decent enough for those 15 minutes or so... I never seem to remember when it's on, though. (was that Summer Glau from the "Firefly" movie tossing some guy across a room?)

Would it be worth it for me to go back to Season 1 and watch it from the beginning?

1. I like it well enough
Not the greatest, but not a terrible clunker, either.

3. I wouldn't stay home for it but if you have Tivo/DVR it's worth watching when you have the free hour

I think the show got the order for another set of episodes for this season. However, it looks like it may soon be headed to the graveyard known as Friday Night Primetime though.

My guess is they'll wrap up the loose ends this season and that'll be it.

2. Consistently better than I expected it to be
Definitely different in tone and pacing from the films, but that's to be expected. Also, the performances are stronger than I anticipated. For a while there was a little too much heavy-handed religious subtext, but that's sort of cooled off more recently.

And it must be said that Brian Austin Greene is excellent on the show. I never liked him at all until seeing him in The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but I have to admit that he's thoroughly convincing in his role.

If you can see it from the beginning, you'll be better off.

4. I haven't seen it at all but

I've consistently heard very good things on other SF discussion boards including Asimov's where there are a lot of writers and SF editors.

5. It's okay. I like it.
If you enjoyed the Terminator movies, you'll probably enjoy it. The cast is very strong, and the action set pieces are quite decent for an episodic TV budget. The writing is somewhat uneven, though; there's a strong sense of character dynamics, but the iffy plot mechanics of an ongoing secret war between humans and machines going on under everybody's nose in modern-day L.A. leads to a lot of contrivances.

6. Watching Season One on DVD
I'm a few episodes in. It's not great, but nor is it bad - leaning towards the positive. At its present pace, I'm in for Season Two - if anything to keep BartCop happy, since Shirley Manson is in it.

Plus, it's a nice Firefly fix with Summer Glau.

8. It's my priority download on Tuesdays
and I usually watch it last. Heroes first, for uber suckage. Prison Break 2nd. Then Daily Show. Then TSC.

9. Yes, Summer Glau.
I've never seen the show, but remember media comments about her participation.

Loved her in "Serenity".

11. It managed to retcon Terminator 3 in the pilot episode, so that's always a plus.

Anything that deletes T3 from the "timeline" is a plus to me.
And yeah, it's nice to get the occasional "Summer Glau/Firefly" fix.

It's not horrible, but it's also not super-great television. It's...entertaining.

12. I like it a lot
I haven't seen it in a few weeks, though.

And as much as I couldn't stand Brian Austin Green, I have to admit he's very good in this. He plays Kyle Reese's brother who has come back from the future to help protect John and Sarah.

13. I'm enjoying it, but then again...
I've had a crush on Summer Glau ever since Firefly. :P

15. You know, I think Summer Glau would be even more beautiful...
if she would smile once in a while.

Why does she always have to play morose types?

14. It's a hell of a lot better than Fringe, but that's not saying much.
It's okay. Watchable.
