Why do they even bother? I don't really care much for the movie, but for fucksake, it doesn't even make any sense when edited for television.

I think I'm going to make a sequel to 8 Mile about a poor kid from Vista, California who fights his heart out to be the first chair trombonist in his middle school band. Does he know his circle of fifths????? Can he site read??? How often will he get his ass kicked walking to school???
