Any Handymen?
Every time I go to flush my toilet, it doesn't flush (1 inch of water in the tank). Then I remove the lid, pull up on this lever, and water starts flowing. When it reaches a certain point, it starts leaking into the tank. Anyway...suffice it to say something is f'd up. So...do I pay a plumber $100 to fix it, or can someone as retarded as me buy some part and fix it myself? And btw no offense to the mentally retarded.

Thx.

1. A Fluid Master Fill Valve and a new flapper should take care...

...of all your problems. The parts would cost around $10, and the instructions are very easy to follow. Even a caveman could do it...

3. I did it and I am all thumbs
The hardest part is draining the water from the tank.

2. Like Robeson said. Check Home Despot or Lowes for the parts.
They may not look the same as what you have, but if you replace the entire valve assy it won't matter. I like the red flapper valves for the drain.

4. You can do it yourself
Toilets are super easy to fix. I've fixed a lot of 'em in my day -- hell, I've even replaced a few. And if I can do it, anyone can. They sell valve kits at just about any home improvement stores and if you have any questions at all, the people are always more than willing to explain. That's how I learned to do all kinds of stuff.
