There's a gig I really want. And the bureau chief has told me they really want to hire me. Last time I lost out because they had to hire internally first and had five inside apps, so I didn't have a hope in hell. So, there's another job that the BC says is coming, but keeps getting delayed. I know it's not her, she's a hell of a nice lady. But I wonder if the company is ever going to get on with it.

finally got the job. Turned out to be the worst place I have ever worked because they jerked me around even worse when I was actually an employee than they did when I was not.
Not saying this will be the case with your job, but just something to be aware of.
