Since Thanksgiving technically happens in Autumn, do I use summer or winter oil to fry the turkey? |

Since Valvoline et. al. haven't seen fit to make an autumn weight oil, what do I do?
Equal parts of each?
Or do I do it fractionally, figuring that Thanksgiving to Winter is 25 days and back to Summer is 65 days, so do I use a 25/90 to 65/90 proportion of winter/summer weight oil?
I mean, you might think I'm kind of dumb, and I am sort of laughing here about it, but, seriously, man, the last thing I want to do is use the wrong kind oil, if you know what I'm talking about.

4. Depends on the climate |

If you're up in the far northern latitudes (North Dakota, northern Wisconsin, etc.), I'd just go ahead and switch to a 5W oil myself. Otherwise, 10W is usually fine.
