My threads are consistently sinking now. Time for me to take a break from DU. |
|
I'll be back in a few hours, give or take.

Prices are dropping which is sad for the lobsterpeople but good for me. This Thanksgiving my kids will be with the ex and his family, so I'm going it alone. Thus, the lobster idea. I can have turkey at Christmas.
You've been to Maine? Glad you escaped unscathed.

I think Maine is stunningly beautiful, especially the beach areas. Also, the old port area of Portland is a nice place to spend some time.

My family's home is in Oregon and though I love it, Maine's wild beauty has captivated me so I can hardly think of leaving. I would, however, like to move South to the Portland area. Bangor is a touch backwoods. When the kids are grown, that's my plan.

I have never been as far north as Bangor.
I can see wanting to live in Portland...I love that little city. Been there 3 or 4 times and always enjoyed it.
