Poll question: Which cupcakes are best? |
|
Edited on Thu Nov-20-08 01:59 PM by Inchworm
Who woulda thunk that one box of cake mix makes near 25 cupcakes...
I, umm, only need 25ish and bought 3 boxes and 3 icing tubs. I really like icing tub containers by the way ;)
It's all Duncan Hines stuff. I figure I'll try homemade when it's just for me and daughter. Daughter has been my tester for years. :D
PS: I am a Grandmaster Procrastinator.

1. duncan hines frosting is the bomb! |
|
i can eat it right out of the container. Now to really make it moist, include a box of chococolate pudding mix in with the cupcake batter.

Google some recipes for simple cupcakes. They don't take any more work, they are cheaper to make (unless you never plan to bake again and don't keep these basic ingredients in your home) and they taste loads and loads better. Plus you get all the props and braggin' rights for doing it from scratch. :hi:

13. I plan to do those next |

I ain't usually nervous in the kitchen and can actually cook. I'm like a mad scientist though.
These are going to be ate at a fundraiser Saturday, so I need a control group to base my experiments on. (wow, I had a hard time with tenses on that sentence lol)
I can make biscuits, pie crusts and such. I actually just buy canned biscuits for normal use though unless I'm going for "braggin' rights." :D
