14. Just saying that some people already knew ;) |

Have a good seminar!
(I strongly believe in community-building activities in times of financial stress, such as monthly charity: cleaning the streets and sidewalks near your church of garbage, painting and beautifying homes of the less fortunate, feeding the less fortunate, putting on plays and musicals, etc.)

15. My congregation is surprisingly good at caring for the unfortunate-- |
|
staffing the homeless shelter as a congregation two nights a month, with lots of individuals doing it at other times; financially supporting the food pantry and giving clothing to an agency that distributes it to the poor. We work together on one community home (not necessarily a church members) to do winterizing and repair work each autumn. Not much in the ways of musicals and plays, but a potluck meal once a month--once a week during Lent--followed by a game night. We have our annual Thanksgiving Dinner this Sunday evening, a pot luck to which members of the community are welcome. Quite a few folks from the public housing high rise a block away usually come.
We're pretty good about these, things, but can always improve.

16. Outstanding, I'm really glad to hear it! May your church stay strong, and a good example to all! |
|
And pardon my bad English. "your church of garbage" wasn't exactly what I'd hoped to express! Time to quit over-editing!

17. My church has its faults. I'm pretty sure worshiping the damn pipe organ |
|
qualifies as idolatry. I'm working on a composition..."Duet for Organ and Sledgehammer", for special performance in worship some Sunday.

first, that is quite possibly the worst internet term ever invented and secondly, I love webinar's, they are the best time to catch up on paperwork or sleep! :)

7. I was in one yesterday... |
|
...there were serious audio problems caused by the speakers attempting to pull their collective heads out of their collective asses.
It was a joint venture between a few "sales gurus" and Oracle, and the sage wisdom on "Selling In A Slump" was to "offer clients more value."
