I broke someone's gaydar last night.

I was performing at this queer open mic, and it was a really great atmosphere. I was talking to one of the other performers, later, and she asked me if I was at all non-straight. When I told her that I, in fact, am queer, she said I seemed totally straight and she would never have guessed. According to her, I broke her gaydar. I guess that's what happens when you're a femme who's currently partnered with a guy?

Ha ha. I'm not sure whether I should be flattered or not. I'm going to have to make an effort to seem gayer. :P
