Crappy songs rehabilitated by movie scenes, commercials, etc.
I heard "Sister Christian" on the radio today, even thought it's a pretty bad song even by power ballad standards, thanks to Alfred Molina in a bathrobe and a couple dozen firecrackers, I was actually enjoying it.

And while not exactly a bad song, the Rolling Stones' "2000 Man" became about 100x more awesome as the soundtrack for Dignan's last stand in "Bottle Rocket."

Anyone else have some?

But then, I like surf music more than most (largely for the insane reverb on the guitars that went out of fashion in the mid '60s)

Now, '90s Neil Diamond covers - that's a crappiness I can get behind, but it was pretty cool in the movie. Good call.
