I went out with my cohort tonight for drinks. Lots of fun. I really like our group.
I don't like to burden them with the problems with Prof. Douchebag, but a small part of me worries a little that he'll try to sabotage me somehow.
I just want to make sure that everything is going to be okay. I've done all I can to protect myself and to get away from him, but I still worry.

It's NOT going to be "okay" ..... we are into very dangerous times.
You 'personally' will be okay as long as you keep your "finger to the wind" and don't listen to Fox News ~ the wholely-owned propaganda channel.
This is the same advice I would give to my daughter ~ my blood.

Sounds like he's got you in a situation, one that you'll be free of eventually.....
And very nice that you were able to have a fun time last night...many more to come.
