Good morning Lounge
It is Friday, a little bit after 9am here in Frankfurt, Germany. It is supposed to get really cold and snow here later on in the day. The first sign of winter.

I have to admit, I love snow. Everything looks peaceful and it seems more quiet than usual.

3. I have no solid plans for anything at the moment.
I might go out and do some squirrel hunting Saturday,
but that's not so much a 'Plan' as a vague notion.

It's fairly cold here right now, and I really don't like the cold.
I may just stay under the covers with a nice book- I'm currently
re-reading all the old Ray Bradbury short stories.

be careful that they don't fight back :)

Not so much into short stories. I prefer long novels. A thick book that captures you. Like "Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell"

Oh it will look beautiful and there will be chaos on the streets ... same procedure as every year when we get snow.

I am more than glad that I can take the underground to get to work and back. No disturbance from snow :)

I'm dancing as fast as I can to get as many paintings as I can finished before 29 Nov. Days are long, but not long enough.

I don't think we'll even see snow where we are, at about 200 or less meters. But the mountains around will be white. I don't mind that at all; it's always very pretty. :)

21. Morning MissH!
Finally got my computer back.

No snow in the forecast here, although it's a balmy 16F.

Actually, I don't mind the snow, as long as there's enough of it to go cross country skiing. Now that my commute is so short, I don't think I'll mind the snowstorms either!

:hi:  :loveya:

p.s. LOVE the rose!

23. Yesterday? Sorry.
I still didn't have my computer back, and I was very busy at work to hop on here.

Downhill skiing looks scary to me. One of the many reason I like x-country skiing is I can just throw my skis/poles in the car and in 15-20 minutes, I'm at some or other trail. And I can go by myself if I get the yearning to just head out to the woods.

Any weekend plans?

You don't have to do the black hills right away. The beginner's hills are simple and wide, really not scary. I love it.

No weekend plans really. Going to do some stuff in the household, maybe a friend is coming over. Oh and I plan to cook Sauce Bolognese for Spaghetti. A whole batch so I can freeze some for later.

Yes, friends tell me about the beginner's hills, but I think I'll stick to x-country skiing. Much more convenient for me.

Bolognese is yummy. Haven't made that in a long time. Don't know what I'll cook this weekend. Thinking about baking whole-wheat bread.

Going to a play with a friend tomorrow, but other than that . . . well, I know that domestic chores are calling me!

You should try the downhill one day. It might get addicting though

I'm quite confident that I'd become addicted to downhill skiing. Don't know if that's good or bad!

A cleaning person for 550 sq. ft. - now that truly is funny! But I can relate. Aren't you doubling your living area when you move? I just love my new place, even though I've been here for about 8 months. So convenient to everyplace, and now that the cold is setting in, I can just throw a log on the fireplace, and be nice and cozy.

Yes, I know the story very well.

I've seen you and 48percenter's skiing pictures. You two certainly have a good time together.

Oh, that extra space will be nice. You will definitely like that. Me? I went smaller, from 1,500 sq ft to 1,000 sq feet, and no basement. Easy to clean, and very bright and cheerful.

Gotta head out to work now.

Wishing you a great day.

the kitties should help, don't you? After all, they deposited the furry bits onto the floors so they should maybe grab a duster and help pick them up. If you do it tomorrow, you can take Sunday off. :D
