She's had a very difficult two weeks. I can't wait to hold her. I miss her so much.

2. Her hometown in Tennessee.

She's trying to see as much of her father as she can while he still knows her (Alzheimer's). But her mom got really sick while she was there, so a week's visit became two. She's learned what life is really like right now for her folks, and it hurts her and scares her. (He's 84, she's 79, she's his sole caregiver and he's getting to be too much, and she's in poor health.)

I wish I could fly there and drive her home.
