22. LMAO!!! I actually did that one year, moved on Halloween but threw a "party"
and the price of admission was to carry 'something', anything from the 3rd floor apt. to the 1st floor apt and you had to be wearing a costume! It worked and we got moved that night and we all had a friggin' blast!! :P I'm already moved though but I have barely put anything away yet, as I can't lift the boxes. Most of them anyway. That's why I'm hiding in my bedroom! :P

barely hung anything on the wall except where there were already nails. It sucked!

I'm going to get those new hangers that you can remove from the wall without damaging the wall.

Made by 3M?

My son has Sat. & Sun. off, so that's the target days to get this place in order.

I can't wait!!

15. I just boiled 3#s of shrimp that were swimming in the Gulf this morning.
I boiled the shrimp in water seasoned with Zatarain's Crab Boil and lemon slices. Two minutes, and then an ice bath. I'll serve the shrimp cold with a warm clarified butter and garlic dipping sauce and a classic ketsup-horseradish based dipping sauce. I'll also serve a spinach salad with mushrooms and crisp panceta. A cold J. Lohr Chardonnay will wash this all down.

And it's pretty darn yummy. Like a good pot roast, German-style.

Beer, definitely maybe.

48. Ugh
Although, sauerbraten is one of the least offensive things my Swiss grandmother would cook up. Much of my childhood was spent having her try to feed me organ meat. She could probably be single-handedly responsible for me becoming pescetarian.

That woman could sneak tripe into ANYTHING.
