How long do you predict it will be before Rich Rodriguez is packing his bags? |
|
I hope it has begun already personally...
this has been one of the worst football games I have ever seen, both with regards to play calling and players on the field.
I am done with Michigan this season, they do not deserve my attention.

I'd love for Michigan to fire him...and hire someone who will inevitably fail to turn the program around in the week and a half Michigan is willing to give him, then fire the noob, then lather, rinse, repeat.
One more piss-poor Michigan season would be FANTASTIC!

it cant be that effin hard to figure out that you need to throw the ball DOWNFIELD BEYOND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE IF YOU WANT POSITIVE YARDS...
Jesus F'in Christ...
Who the fuck designed this offensive strategy? and why the fuck do they run the same play that ISNT WORKING, over and over and over, etc...
And then second, WHO the FUCK goes ahead with not one, but TWO FRESHMEN quarterbacks as starters...

2. It's too soon for that friends, |
|
with all due respect to our love for Michigan (I was born at Mt. Carmel Hospital, grew up as a west sider, Henry Ford High)Rodriguez got a late start with all the screwing around they did looking for a replacment for Carr. Plus the cupboard was left bare, nothing really for him to work with. Let's give him a couple seasons anyhow. I live in Seattle now and don't think the UM program will end up like Washington........ I hope :)

13. Remember, then they were playing the f-ing Gophers, |
|
A program that has been so screwed up for so long no one under 70 can remember them being a national power, and that knows how to lose in more ways than is humanly possible.

7. This is MICHIGAN we're talking about... |
|
There's no way Rodriguez has a job there come January 1.
And there's no way they have a winning team because they're completely unwilling to let a coach have even the slightest chance of rebuilding.

Traditionally they seem to give their coaches a long leash. What's different now?

We really need a high-five smiley.
Edit: Just for clarification, I have no problem with Michigan as a team. Just with the guy who's currently "coaching"--if you want to call it that out of kindness.
Here's hoping that RichRod gets his karmic justice, and you guys get a really fantastic coach in the future.

10. I'm somewhat puzzled as to why he couldn't work with what he had |
|
Instead of tearing everything down so completely. That was dumb.
Let's see how he does recruiting. He won't get fired this year but if he doesn't produce next year, I'm betting he's gone. We're Michigan, we can't stand for this.

I just don't think the TALENT they had in the past is there. Couple of decent running backs for sure, but the special teams and lines need serious work. They could not move the ball to save their life and the blocking/tackling was awful.
You know it's bad when Interception Boeckmann is scoring against you.
Sheeeesh.

|
According to a January 31st article at ESPN.com: "The highway sign declaring Grant Town, W.Va., as Rich Rodriguez's hometown was even removed."
