I know Teese has been mentioned on here before but I don't think I can find that anywhere in town. A friend of mine mentioned another one he tried that is made by the same company as Tofurkey but he forgot the name. Any ideas or other suggestions?

2. I haven't had Teese, but in my experience vegan cheese sucks
I didn't do dairy for awhile, but I didn't even bother with trying to substitute cheese.

5. I don't think Turtle Island Foods makes a "cheese"
Follow Your Heart (the makers of Vegenaise) *allegedly* makes a good one.

If you have the time to wait, I'd order the Teese.

"We regret that we cannot ship this item to addresses outside of the continental United States. "

I'm going up to Portland this week, I can get you whatever you want from Food Fight and ship it to you.

19. Sunday. The nacho stuff would be ideal, but cheddar would suffice.

13. FYH Vegan Gourmet sucks.
It has a very narrow range between "Hot enough to melt" and "hot enough to catch the rest of your food on fire"

18. Did I neglect to mention that it's bland, and it spoils really fast.
Teese, otoh, lasts for ages, has flavor, actually melts... Oh, and it's cheaper too.

22. FYH does spoil fast
It used to get moldy on the shelf all the time when I worked at the health food store. It would be completely sealed, well before the sell-by date, and kept at the proper temp, yet getting moldy.

23. Once it's open? A week max. Usually more like three days.
I quit buying it because I could NEVER use up a whole package without it going moldy.
