I want a Fitzler

That's what an old man said to me at work yesterday. He looked like a turtle.

I sell wine so I figured he meant Fetzer. "Fetzer?" I asked. "Yeah, that's it."

Narrows it down but not by much really. "Do you know which one?" I asked him. "Eh?" "Which flavor," I said. "Which varietal. Red or white?"

"Oh. I don't know." And he starts to peruse my shelves.

Well, I sell a dozen different Fetzer varietals. Chard, Cab, Merlot, Sauv Blanc, Riesling, Gewurtztraminer, Zinfandel, Syrah...

I finally just started walking him down the aisle - "This one?" He'd peer at it. "No." Shake of the head. Next one. "No."

Finally hit pay dirt with the Riesling. He bought one bottle, happy as a clam.

Another satisfied customer.
