What are you up to tonight?
Me, I'm on my second martini after finishing washing my, "cat-pee insulated coveralls."

One of the fucking cats marked my onezie that I stored in the bottom of the spare room closet. I broke it out Friday morning because I've been suffering this week working outside in the wind tunnel portions of the city. I noticed the smell immediately but brought it along anyway because I needed that protection (it was so brutal that my work was compromised; I couldn't stop chattering and I need to be as steady as possible). I wore it for half the day but while warming up inside the van for a moment I decided I couldn't take the smell anymore.

My 1zie doesn't smell after being washed but now I'm worried the cat(s) will be inclined to remark it. x(

Should I store it in my van?

1. Total food coma.
We had "pre Thanksgiving" tonight, because we're spending Thursday at Gordon's sister's place, and we wanted to make sure we had leftover turkey, so we roasted our own today.

I made a brined roasted turkey (perfect), mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing (my favorite), gravy, and this:

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/whipped-sweet-potatoes-and-bananas-with-honey-recipe/index.html

We saw it this morning and decided we had to try it. It was HEAVENLY. You and bi_baby should try this!!

We JUST finished, so I'm going to spend my food coma here, and then deal with the leftover turkey carcass.

5. We just happened to surf past his show this morning, and saw him making that.
I already had sweet potatoes to fix with bourbon and brown sugar, but as soon as we saw that, we knew we had to try it. SOOOOO good.

2. Underwriting...sorta.
I'm trying to catch up on some work before the short week. My decisions should be interesting considering I'm having a vodka lemonade while I'm doing it.

Later, I'm looking forward to watching Graham Norton and a sweet DVD that I downloaded earlier (thanks, DS1!).

8. I have it folded up on a kitchen chair
I don't want to bear going out in that cold again. :scared:

Also (you betcha) I think I should start dressing in the jump-suit before I leave. The weather has been shocking this week.

7. I'm going to go get Thai food and a movie.
And I'm trying not to think about the fact that I don't have a job, and I don't have sight nor smell of a job, so I think I may have another glass of wine.

9. Slowly re-entering the land of the living after two days...
Felt like crap all week, went to the doc Thursday night...diagnosed with brochitis :( Now up to my eyeballs in an antibiotic, prednisone pills, an inhaler, and hydrocodone based cough syrup. But it all has allowed me to actually get OUT of bed, shower and run a few errands today..and is letting me eat pizza as I catch up with DU tonight.

10. Hang it up, if that cat can get up there and re stinkafy it then the cat has earned
ownership imo.

I went to see Madagascar 2 and went out to dinner, kind of pissed because my hair appt was today, i get to the salon after---after they called me yesterday morning to confirm and then today they somehow lost my time, not pleased at all. Anyhow my appointment has been re booked for Wed. and i'll get 25% off which is good due to all the work i need done but still, not cool.

12. I guess I could
I'm just more annoyed that one of them may have done that. I haven't worn it in like 9+ months and the odor smells like it was done months ago; still reeks but not as bad.

How dare he/she/they since I clean their litter boxes and feed them?

Now we are home... we are either both getting sick, or are just super out of it... I don't think i was very good company tonight! Claritin + beer = dopey Sally

As for the onesie, does it have a buttflap? Inquiring minds need to know...

16. Yep, either store it in the van, or find somewhere to hang it so it doesn't get 'decorated' again...
As for me, i'm finishing up laundry and getting ready for bed... I have to be up to head to work at around 4:30am. *ugh*

In 50 minutes I am going home, making dinner, and sitting in front of the teevee 'til I fall asleep.

:hi:

Edit: The van. Or a room that the cats will never go in. Or very high location.

20. Annoyed at teh relatives, drowning it in wine
Edited on Sat Nov-22-08 10:24 PM by XemaSab
Tomorrow is my mom's birthday.

Tonight we were supposed to go to a local place (semi-nice) for a birthday dinner.

Her sister and my cousin drove 2.5 hours for this occasion. They got here at 12:30. We went to Costco, then got sammies. By the time we ate the sammies, it was 2. Everyone ate half a sandwich. At 4:30, my aunt announced that she had no intention of eating any dinner, and she wanted to go to the hotel. I told he that we probably weren't eating until 8, and she acted like that was ridiculously late. She and my cousin left about an hour ago.

This is why I am annoyed: They came here for my mom's birthday. They bailed before dinner. My mom and I wound up eating the rest of our sandwiches for dinner. AND DAMMIT, I DON'T THINK IT'S UNREASONABLE TO EAT HALF A SANDWICH AT 2 AND GO OUT FOR A FULL DINNER AT 8. :grr:

(And YES, I am viewing this as a personal criticism on my weight.)

21. I'm wasting time
I've been looking at Stumble sites for like TWO HOURS. I've seen hundreds of cute animal pictures but I wasted the heck out of this night :*

You'll have to keep the 1zie up high, out of cat ass reach, we have a cat who marks so we've moved everything until kitty passes away. My husband just started wearing his thick padded coveralls Thursday! he's out at construction sites about 10 hours a day.
