I was paying bills and ran out of checks. So I opened the drawer and pulled out a new book of checks and finished.

Then the other day I realized I had used a book of checks from a closed account.

So I sent out 6 bad checks in the mail.

I had to call each one and pay over the phone and request they tear up the other checks.

and I'll probably get a fee from each one.
