I noticed that the primary matter reactant injectors were operating under specs by 2.75% |
|
So I figured that something was inhibiting the matter and anti-matter streams at the injector ports. We've had a problem with the secondary throttleable nozzles for the upper magnetic constriction segments since the last partial overhaul.
Things have been pretty slow lately, so why not fix this puppy?
Of course, I decided that a basic level 1 diagnostic would figure out where the problem point is along the injector assembly. I just hoped that if it was a faulty conical structure vessel, it wouldn't collapse under the resultant pressure of a test firing and expel superheated deuterium into the reaction chamber.
The diagnostic confirmed that the dispersion-strengthened woznium carbmolybdenide manifold was indeed intact and well within specs, so there was no danger of micro fractures in that part of the assembly expelling dangerous gases.
However, I did find out that the twelfth shock attenuation cylinder connected to the primary deuterium tankage was not torqued at 28.5, degrees as specified in the specs manual but at 27.8 instead.
A simple fix.
So, I rotated the cylinder to the specified requirement and rechecked the reactant injector operants and noted that the reaction efficiency was raised by 3.2%.
SWEET!
Lunch time, baby!
When I get back, I'm going to take a new look at those venterium cortenide 947/952 coils. Nobody has noticed, but I think that propulsive warp field has been a little sluggish lately.

5. Man. you wasted a lot of time and effort. |

Everyone knows that all you have to do to fix things in the future is to reverse the polarity of something.

a Craftsman model 1019 Laboratory Edition Signature Series torque wrench. The kind used by Caltech high energy physicists?
And how can you sure it was calibrated exactly to industry specifications?

Of course, I used a standard Star Fleet issued bisected torque spanner instead.
The right tool for the right job.

17. Did you check starboard impulse engine packs? |

The tips have almost decayed to lead. If you activate those engines that the entire impulse deck will explode!

19. Re:Sluggish Warp Field |
|
Have you checked the relative motion of conductors and fluxes?
Sometimes the modial interaction of magneto-reluctance will produce capacitive-duractance.
The original warp drive had a baseplate of prefamulated Amulite, surmounted by a maleable logarithmic casing, in such a way, that the two swerving bearings ran a direct line with a panametric fan. The line up consisted simply of six hydrocoptic Marzal vanes, so fitted to the ambithazient lunar waneshaft, that side-fumbling was effectively prevented. The main winding was of the normal Lotus-O Deltiod-type Placetin Panendermic Semi-Boloid Slotsothistator. Every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversable Tremipipe to the differential Girtle Spring, on the up-end of the Gram-meters. Moreover, whenever fluorescent scoremotion was required, it could also be employed in conjunction with a drawn-reciprocation Dingle arm, to reduce sinusoidal deplaneration.
