But the way this Russian Imperial Stout was brewed, it ends up having the same flavor characteristics as chocolate.

They use dark roasted malts and coffee when they brew this, and it ends up being like 13%

Sadly, you can only get this at the brewery, or on Dark Lord Day which is the only day they sell bottles of this stuff.

Having said that, there are tons of Russian Imperial Stouts that taste like Chocolate if that's what you're after.

Try The Abyss by Deschutes, Stone Russian Imperial Stout, Valley Brew Imperial Stout, Old Rasputin by North Coast or any local Imperial Stout. The goal in brewing it is to try to make it taste as much like chocolate as possible.
