Techno-freaks, I need advice or help with a browser problem
My browser seems to be malfunctioning. Things that should be shaded are not, or don't even appear. Drop down lists don't show the box but do show text. I can't put my finger, but everything looks weird. Here is a screen shot of a DU thread.

Anyone know what is going on, or what I should do?

1. I am not very knowledgeable, but
a few "first" I have learned are the obvious turn off and restart, and cleaning out cache. After that I would check in the computer forum: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=242
