The High Holiday for my people.

Yeah, I know they usually get it wrong. Yeah, I know it's cheesy Hollywood suckup-ism at its worst. Yeah, yeah yeah....

But I just LOVE 'em! Always have ever since I was a little kid. I'll be watching it at a friend's house, so I won't be here to slam the show online. But in case any celebs are reading this, here's some advice:

A billion people are watching - comb your damn hair!

If you win for Best Sound Editing of an Animated Short Featuring Cello Music, keep your speech short. We don't care about you.

This is the Oscars, not the Viper Club - comb your damn hair!

A leather jacket with a cummerbund is not a tuxedo.

Spray-on tans look silly. Stop it.

Benicio del Toro: comb your damn hair!

Don't pretend you didn't think about your acceptance speech. Just give it.

Don't cry. You didn't win Miss America or just give birth. You won a trophy.
