I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hope LORD OF THE RINGS wins BEST picture....
I will be a nervous wreck until the announcement is made..Why am I so vested in which picture wins? I see this as vindication of a whole genre. For too long fantasy pics have been viewed as fairy tales and not serious movies. I have been an SF/Fantasy fan since I was 10 and to see the genre finally get respect gives me warm fuzzies...
So, I want DU's help on what I should do for my Oscar meal....
