It is a childish storyline but the graphics and experience are so good.

While the game is otherwise very kidsy - almost too much for me, the experience transcends age barriers; I did find it exciting to play -- and stimulating for the brain as I've never exactly played a game where I've had to "think upside down" before, as that's how the controls have to be used at times. The game works in 360 degrees on all 3 axes. X, Y, and Z.

3. There's one called Carnival I think... |
|
I'm not a big gamer but I don't exactly mind playing that one with the kiddo.
Also Mario Kart Wii - I'll play that one on my own sometimes.
And we all enjoy Guitar Hero.

* Wii Sports * Wii Fit * Wii Play (billiards only) * Super Mario Galaxy * Star Wars Lego adventures * Williams' Pinball Classics (the Wii version has 2 games not available for other consoles, apparently) * Legend of Zelda
Wii Sports has bowling and boxing games not yet bettered by 3rd party developers (amazon.com and gaming sites have some terrific reviews).
Just my two cents; but apart from the sports and fit games, there's little on the Wii I cared for. I got the pinball game for "Funhouse" (and it's a superb translation; all the games in the Williams set have excellent physics detail) and I'd read so much about Super Mario Galaxy that I gave in - fortunately. Star Wars is fun, especially when battling the imperial walkers on Hoth... or at least playing Jar Jar Binks and killing him as leisure on a rainy day... I loved the original Zelda; the new version also raises the bar...
I'll stick with my PC for most things, however.

9. WarioWare, Super Mario Galaxies, Super Mario Strikers |
|
I love the soccer game, Super Mario Strikers, and Super Mario Galaxies has HOURS and HOURS of different levels to get into.
