I also make no fucking sense, this is what happens when you let someone who is higher than a kite sing and record it.

If you should dare to destroy your ears and you want to throw up at the horrible electronic sounds of me, which you do at your own risk, here is the link:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=890002&songID=7087903

It's called Get Up and Dance (it really should be called get up and puke. :P)

1. You do NOT screech. You actually sing, and better than some "artists" out there.
I gotta admit, though, the song sounds like these two had a love child:

Gary Numan

and Elvis Presley

2. Well, then at the very least....
I don't make sense!

:P

So what you're saying is that I suck at sucking?

3. Man, don't MAKE me come over there......
It sounds perfectly fine to me. And it will sound even better once you've polished it up like your link says you're going to.

The whole Elvis vs. Numan thing is just my take on it. Neither good nor bad. I certainly didn't mean to offend. What really matters is that you're having fun, ya know? :)

4. Well, OK.
:P

It has to sound better though, it doesn't sound like I want it to. I've got like this instinct of what it should be, and I hope I can get it there or I'll be disappointed.

5. And I forgot to say...
that I'm going to move the get and dance thing to the chorus, as it obviously sounds too annoying so often repeated.

I'm going to perhaps have the verse tell a story of someone going to a club, maybe like for the first. Not knowing what to expect. The chorus could be a response to the reluctance of the person new to the club scene to dance.

6. I'm sure you will!
By the way, what are you using to make the music?

I have Garage Band, Logic Express 8, and all of the Jam Packs on this iMac. I'm absolutely daunted by it all, but I managed to find some instructional videos and books on Bit Torrent which are helping it to all make sense. I plan to start committing all these notes in my head to media before long, and yes, I'll share my creations with DU as well. :scared:

I'm using a PC with Cakewalk Sonar Producer Edition (Cakewalk is only available for Windows, but works with Bootcamp.) They have their own synths, some of which use Roland sounds. They are partly owned by Roland if I remember correctly. That's why I use it. They're even moving to release Roland/Cakewalk integrated hardware, which I have to make enough money to buy! :P

8. Hey I just updated my song, it's long, has a bridge...
and has more accent elements. In this version, I've removed the scratch vocals for now, until I can really record some good ones.

What do you think?
