these do not have marshmallows on top, it is a mixture of sugar, some butter, and pecans on top. Makes a nutty candy top on it. It is good.

Everyone else in the family hates them, so I get them all to myself.

And, afterward, no one really wants to be around me for awhile.

It's a win/win situation.

60. I use a bit of Miracle Whip + spicy mustard or if out of that
I use yellow then ad some hot paprika.
That reminds my, years ago a neighbor was getting married and my then partner was a florist doing the flowers, the caterer took ill and we ended up doing the food too and the bride wanted deviled eggs. We were up till almost 3 am, made 48 dozen! sliced green and black olives on top, and minced very very fine onion in the yolks..they were good and pretty. I like deviled eggs, but after that I did not touch any for almost a year.

67. 48 Dozen!

Yeah ... that'd about do it. :)

My family is very odd. The matriarch, my grandma, made the deviled eggs for all occasions ... lots of spicy mustard and a whips of Miracle Whip with paprika liberally sprinkled on top was the base. She'd make a couple kinds always, one with a little more mustard and some chopped green onions and another with a little less mustard, a lot of Miracle Whip, and no paprika.

She did this because most of her kids didn't like the paprika and for some reason thought the Miracle Whip should be dominant.

Since then, either me or Mom have always been the ones who made the eggs, and we both do it the first way, never having bothered with the second way since it just makes no sense to us.

I have given in a bit in the last few years and not put the paprika on them. I just walk around with my own shaker of it. :)

They still don't eat 'em mostly.

More for me.
