Looking for software for voice recording on computer |
|
I would like to record a theater monologue on to a cd. is there a decent free or inexpensive software that anyone can recommend. I don't need it for anything fancy, just for recording my voice.

"sound recorder" built into windows if you have a PC. It'll record it into a wav file. wav files convert easily to cd audio. No need to purchase anything except a microphone.

I've used it so many times, for so many different purposes, and it always comes through.

I use it with my M-Audio Delta 1010LT sound card. Let's me record up to 8 tracks at once. DSP and lots of other features built in and it's free.

4. And if you don't have a built in mike... |
|
You can pick up a cheap one for about $10. It works.
