As of today, my apartment no longer has cable service. |
|
Called Comcast, canceled service, took the cable boxes back to the office. All done.
Now I'm surfing on new 12mbps DSL internet tubes, and not really missing TV that much - the vast majority of what was on was crap.
So long FAUX Noise! So long CNN! I'll miss MSNBC, but I can get Olbermann and Maddow over the web anyways. I think I can also get Daily Show and Colbert over the web too.

2. Yeah, I found a whole bunch of stuff. |
|
Youtube, of course.
Then there's freetube.110mb.com, which has a huge number of web TV streams.
There's channelchooser.com, which has yet more.
It's not hard to find stuff.
