I know I'm going to end up like a Crackberry version of Ray Milland in Lost Weekend, but after playing around w/ a co-worker's smartphone my defenses have melted:D

I bought an AlphaSmart Dana word-processor just so that when I'm out and about, I won't be tempted with email, Internet, games and so on like with a laptop, when what I really need to do is just sit and write :)

I got a Blackberry Curve for only an $8 upgrade fee. I love it, by the way.

10. I have a Blackberry Pearl, and against all odds and reason, I am

hooked on it. So hooked that I attemtped to upgrade to that new Blackberry Storm last Saturday, and they were sold out. The product debuted last Friday, by the end of that day it was completely sold out in all areas of Western PA. I had to order one, it will arrive mid-December. If they hadn't come out with the Storm, I would have gotten a Curve. The World model looks nice, but it has no camera and doesn't play tunes.

11. Hated Mine with a Passion

We got two BB Pearls back in Aug. I got rid of mine in less than a month. Hated the damn thing. Didn't work worth a hoot for...probably operator headspace and timing, but I had very poor reception with it in multiple locations, my office -corner, 2nd floor with plenty of windows, it would not work 5-6 steps into Walmart, Costco, Sam's, Lowe's any big box store, dropped signals daily....Then I'm just clumsy and not good typing/texting etc....Hated mine, traded it back in for a Motorola kRZR. My 15yo son kept his, loves it and wants the new BB Storm. ALLTEL doesn't offer it yet as one of their products so I'm saved for awhile longer.
