4. 39 - 33

Yes, it has.

Now what?

Would you at least grant that with the current system, no matter what happens, some team will at least have an argument to being treated unfairly? I include all three of Tech, Texas, and OU ... and outside that possibly Alabama if Florida pulls an upset.

5. Strength Of Schedule
:hi:

Almost all sources consider Tech's strength of schedule to be weaker than the Horns and ou sucks. Also the Texas victory over ou sucks was on a neutral field. ou sucks blowout victory over Tech was at home. The Horns' loss was not a blowout and ou sucks loss was not a blowout. Only the Tech loss was a blowout. Consequently, I think it is fair for Texas and ou sucks to have the BCS advantage over Tech. Actually, I think all three should be in a BCS Bowl. Of course I think Texas should have the BCS edge over ou sucks.
45-35 It has been settled on the field.

6. Ah, one of those ...

So basically what you're saying is that Texas got beat by an inferior team.

It's settled on the field .... unless it not being settled on the field goes in your favor.

Well, okay then.

7. You might have a point if the game was played at a neutral site
But this year's OU / Texas game was played in Texas.

9. It's always played in Texas.

Dallas, TX. Approximately half-way between Norman and Austin.

It is neutral in the sense the stadium is evenly divided in ticket allocation. It's a sea of crimson on one side and burnt orange on the other.

It's a rivalry game though. It's not your standard "neutral site" deal. Kinda gotta be there.

It's irrelevant anyway, imo. The point is, Tech, OU, and Texas all have an argument with various streams of logic to them, and none of those streams are just pulled out of the air. Everyone who has ever rooted for any team has used each of them at some point about their own favorite.

That's what this sucks. They're all right, and they're all wrong.

The BCS gods are praying for an OSU or Baylor upset so they can still claim their system has some relevance.
